Fine Master

Time required for your report (1:00 - 1:30)

Purpose:

The fines master is a role that permits some levity at the end of the meeting. As the fines master you may fine members for faux pas in protocol or mishaps during the meeting. Example of fines are fining a member who:

  • hackled a speaker,

  • Did not wearing a name tag (except during the performance of a role)

  • Arrived late at the meeting.

  • Left the lectern unattended etc.

Your judgment is the limit. Have some fun with the role. The amount of fine is to your discretion but the total fine to a member should not exceed $1.00. All proceeds from the fine go to the club fund.

Before the meeting:

Pay attention to the names of all participants and write them down during members introduction to aid you in your report at the end of the evening

During the meeting:

Discreetly determine and record the members who are not wearing a name tag.

Record any items you deem inappropriate during the meeting.

Listen carefully; also, record the used of the word of the day

When requested by the General Evaluator give a quick report.

Levy a fine of 25 cents for ea. member who is not wearing a name tag.  Your total fines are not to exceed $1.00
